Fairleigh Dickinson Downs Men's Tennis, 5-2

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Continuing its Spring Break trip in California, the Boston University men's tennis team fell to Fairleigh Dickinson, 5-2, on Tuesday afternoon. The Knights (4-6) swept through doubles and won four of the six singles matches.

Freshman Emilio Teran and senior Michael Kopelman led the Terriers (0-10) with singles victories. Kopelman defeated Yuri Girishenko, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 3, while Teran dropped just two games in a dominating 6-2, 6-0, victory over Dom Henry at No. 5.

Senior Josh Friedman tried to rally from a set down but dropped the second set tiebreaker in a 6-2, 7-6(4) defeat at the top singles spot against Arivs Barzins.

BU will next face Western Illinois on Thursday (March 15) at 2 p.m.
