EDISON, N.J. - Kristyna Pavlickova of the Boston University women’s golf team has been named to the 2011-12 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Pavlickova completed her freshman campaign at BU with a 3.50 GPA as a Business Administration and Management major. In addition to her success in the classroom, Pavlickova was the Terriers’ top golfer last year, as she claimed the individual title at the Sacred Heart Invitational last October and also placed first at the Hartford Invitational in April.
The Prague native finished in a tie for fifth place at the MAAC Championships while also garnering MAAC Rookie of the Year honors. Earlier this month, she was recognized as a National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, an athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members of the MAAC with athletes represented in all 24 sports that the conference sponsors. BU is an associate member of the conference.
