Field Hockey Places 11 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Boston University field hockey team placed 11 of its student-athletes on this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Wednesday by the conference office.

Six of BU's seniors (Ally Alfonso, Dana Centofanti, Amira Downes, Anne Fruitema, Madeleine Hackett, Ysi Schieb) were honored along with juniors Valentina Cerda Eimbcke and Chrissy Toomey, sophomore Katie Bernatchez and freshmen Bea Baumberger Altirriba and Ellie Landsman.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester. Alfonso was one of eight Patriot League field hockey players to earn a 4.0 grade-point average.
