CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston University men’s swimming and diving team downed Boston College, 184-152, on Friday night at BC’s Flynn Recreation Complex Pool.

The Terriers won 10 of the 16 events on Friday and were led by multi-win performances from senior Jeff Thomas and sophomore Mun Hon Lee.

Lee led BU with three first-place finishes including the 100 backstroke (52.44), 200 backstroke (1:53.48) and 200 IM (1:57.44) while Thomas posted wins in the 200 breaststroke (2:07.52) and 100 butterfly (51.13).

Sophomore Tanner Cridland led BU in the 400 IM (4:10. 65) while senior Nik Astashinsky took second (4:11.10) and classmate Wesley Pate claimed third (4:13.44).

Freshman Austin Dickey earned the win in the 100 breaststroke (57.48) and junior Alec Pokornowski placed first in the 200 butterfly (1:55.94).

Junior Connor Stuewe posted a victory for BU in the 500 freestyle (4:42.48), ahead of senior James Sundquist in second (4:42.92) in second and classmate Tim Bouvier in third (4:50.57).

The Terriers closed out the meet with a win in the 200 freestyle relay with freshman Brian Habacivch along with juniors Cole Puci, Ryan Bach and Andy Vazquez posting a time of 1:25.13.

BU returns to action on Friday (Feb. 14) for the start of the two-day feBRUINvite hosted by Brown in Providence, R.I.
