BOSTON - Graduate student Mary Parker collected her 100th career point, but the Boston University women's ice hockey team suffered a 6-2 setback at Northeastern on Tuesday night at Matthews Arena.

GOAL-BY-GOAL

Northeastern opened the scoring at the 4:10 mark of the first period, but freshman Natasza Tarnowski answered just over three minutes later when she knocked home a rebound following a shot from senior Samantha Sutherland.
The Huskies scored the first thre goals of the second stanza before Parker answered with her sixth goal of the season and 100th career point. She too capitalized on a loose puck at the crease.
BU pressured well in the final frame, but Northeastern made it 5-2 at the 12:52 mark of the period before a last-second empty-netter secured the scoreline.

GAME NOTES

Freshman Deziray De Sousa recorded her first collegiate point with an assist on Tarnowski's goal.
Juniors Victoria Bach and Nina Rodgers both assisted on Parker's strike.
Parker now has six five goals over the last three games. For her career, she has 49 goals and 51 assists.
Junior Erin O'Neil made 32 saves for the Terriers.
The Terriers held Northeastern to a 1-of-7 mark on the power play in a penalty-plagued affair.
