CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Eleven members of the Boston University swimming and diving team earned a spot on the All-Patriot League teams, the conference announced. Five Terriers were selected to the first team, three from the women's team and two from the men's squad.
Among the BU first-team members, Stephanie Nasson, Kyra Tatlow and Quinn Smith earned a spot by way of a Patriot League Championship swim. Nasson won the women's 500 freestyle while Tatlow was the only BU diving champion at the meet. Smith was the lone winner from the men's squad, winning the 200 IM and breaking the BU record in the preliminary round.
Garrett Chin and Erin Nabney each earned spots on the first team based on total points earned in the meet. Chin led the BU men's team with 45 points thanks to a second place finish and school record in the 400 IM, a bronze medal performance in the 200 backstroke and a seventh-place finish in the 200 IM. Nabney finished the meet with 37 points, taking fourth in the 200 breaststroke, ninth in the 100 breaststroke and sixth in the 200 IM.
Men's second team members included Daniel Andronov, who set a school record in the 200 breaststroke and David Thiede, who placed third in the 3-meter and sixth in the 1-meter dive.
On the women's All-Patriot League team, Lizzie Tillo earned a spot with a fourth place finish in the 1-meter and sixth place finish on the 3-meter board while teammate Kalli Roebelen finished second in the 1-meter and fifth in the 3-meter. They are joined by Julimar Avila (100 fly) and Grace Anderson (1650 free), who both left with bronze medals in their events.
