200m Dash Results | 800m Run Results
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Junior Cameron Williams of the Boston University men's track & field team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 200m dash at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Championships hosted by the University of North Florida.
Williams, the school record holder in the 200m dash with a time of 20.56 seconds, qualified for Saturday's quarterfinal thanks to a time of 20.96 seconds. He is looking to qualify for the NCAA Championships in both the indoor and outdoor season, having competed in the semifinal round of the 200m dash at this year's indoor championships.
Junior Ethan Homan's terrific outdoor season came to a close on Friday in the quarterfinal round of the 800m run. He posted a time of 1:50.20 after finishing with a personal-best time of 1:48.28 in Thursday's prelims.
Williams will run in two events on Saturday, as he is also part of the 4x100m relay team that will take the track at approximately 6:15 p.m. The 200m dash is scheduled for 7:50 p.m. In addition, junior David Oluwadara will compete in the triple jump, which is slated to start at 3 p.m.
