WINCHESTER, Mass. - In its final match before spring break, the Boston University men's tennis team fell to Dartmouth, 7-0, on Friday evening at the Winchester Indoor Tennis Club.

MATCH NOTES
  • Dartmouth jumped out to a 1-0 lead by winning at No. 1 and 3 doubles by a combined score of 12-1.
  • Seniors Mario Sandoval and Jake De Vries prevented the sweep by claiming a 7-5 win
  • The Big Green then went on capture all six singles points, including five in straight sets.
  • Sandoval rallied from a set down to force a third at line 5 but eventually fell, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
  • Senior Jay Leelavanich won the most games at No. 2 in a hard-fought 7-6, 6-4 loss.
NEXT UP: KEISER
  • The Terriers will fly south to Florida for three matches, starting at Keiser on Wednesday, March 8.
  • Keiser currently has six players ranked in the ITA's national NAIA singles poll.
