Senior Toria Levy
of the Boston University women's track & field team was named Patriot League Track Athlete of the Week for the second-consecutive week on Tuesday.
Levy excelled once again this Saturday, beating her Patriot League-best time in the 400-meter hurdles finishing in 57.12 at the Tiger Track Classic at Auburn University. The senior finished second overall and now has the eighth-fastest collegiate 400-meter hurdles time in the nation this year. Levy also took third-place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.80, the fastest time in the League this season.
This is the second-straight PL Track Athlete of the Week Award for Levy. She was honored on April 4 for her performance at the Texas Relay where she finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.41 seconds and then helped the 4x400 relay team break the BU school record with a t time of 3:36.73, good for fourth overall and second among collegiate teams at the meet.
BU will return to action at the Brown Invitational in Providence R.I. on April 15.
