Terriers Surge Up Leaderboard Sunday at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - Highlighted by a strong Sunday performance, the Boston University golf team finished fourth at the Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend at Hanover Country Club.
BU entered the final round in sixth place after an opening-round 305, but rallied to shoot 300 on Sunday to finish fourth, just one stroke behind host Dartmouth. Quinnipiac won with a two-day total of 588.
Junior Megan Carter (78-72) fired an even-par 72 on Sunday to finish tied for 13th with a total of 150. Nobody made more of a jump up the leaderboard than Carter, who improved her position by 19 spots. She was joined in a tie for 13th by freshman Katerina Doleckova, who opened with a 74 on Saturday and carded a 76 on Sunday.
Senior Phyllis Tang (73-79) tied for 20th with a score of 152 thanks to a 73 on Saturday. Sophomore Abby Parsons (82-74) bounced back with a final-round 74 to finish tied for 30th, while sophomore Saeros Oskarsdottir (80-78) carded a 78 on Sunday to finish tied for 35th.
The Terriers will return to competition on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3 at the 54-hole Starmount Forest Fall Classic at UNC Greensboro.
