Fourteen Terriers Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BOSTON – After claiming its third conference title in four years, the Boston University field hockey team placed 14 student-athletes on the 2017 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Friday morning.

To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports.

Led by junior Bridget Egan and senior Kali Shumock's 4.00 GPA, the Terriers posted a team grade-point average of 3.40 in the fall semester. The two health science majors joined six others players across the league in achieving a perfect GPA during the semester.
