BOSTON – Due to expected inclement weather, the start time of Saturday's Patriot League championship round featuring the top-seeded Boston University softball team and No. 3 Lehigh has been pushed up to 10 a.m. at the BU Softball Field.

Fans looking to park in the Langsam Garage are advised to arrive early, as Agganis Arena will be hosting Berklee's commencement at 10 a.m. If it's filled, guests should park in the Essex Street Garage behind the new Booth Theater.

The Terriers (38-18) enter the contest having won their first two games of the tournament with an 8-0 run-rule victory over No. 4 Army West Point and then a thrilling 6-4 win against No. 2 Bucknell. The Mountain Hawks (24-25-1) bounced back from Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Bison with back-to-back 3-0 victories on Friday against the Black Knights and Bucknell.

BU is 10-2 all-time in the PL tournament, having claimed the titles in 2014 and 2016 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as the No. 2 and 3 seeds, respectively. Last season as the No. 2 seed, they won two straight to enter the championship round unbeaten but then lost two one-run heartbreakers (1-0, 4-3) to the top-seed and host Mountain Hawks.

This year, the Terriers are 2-1 against Lehigh, having won the weekend series at home back on April 7-8. BU rebounded from an 8-5 loss with two wins (5-0, 3-1) to hand the Mountain Hawks just their fourth PL doubleheader defeat in 25 years.
