The Case Center Main Entrance on Babcock Street is still undergoing enhancements. To enter Friday's game, please go up the outside stairs on Babcock Street by the dorms, then take a left at City Convenience to approach the entrance to Case Gym – "The Roof". The No. 9 Boston University women's ice hockey team will face its first top-10 test of the season on Friday when the Terriers open a home-and-home series with No. 4 Northeastern at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
BU (5-1-1, 2-1-1 HEAW) and Northeastern (5-1-0, 2-1-0 HEAW) will conclude the weekend set at Matthews Arena on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. That game will be televised on NESNplus and available nationally on CBS All-Access.
Friday is the Terriers' annual Do It For Daron Mental Health Awareness game. There will be free apple cider and cider donuts for fans.

HOME SWEET HOME
- Friday will be only the second time this year that BU has played at home.
- The Terriers concluded a five-game road stretch this past weekend at Penn State, going 4-1-0 in that span.
- The Terriers will have two more road games before a three-game homestand that begins on Nov. 12 against Yale.
- BU tied its only home tilt this season, a 2-2 draw with Merrimack.
HISTORY WITH THE HUSKIES
- Friday will be the 60th all-time meeting between the crosstown rivals.
- BU is 31-20-8 against Northeastern, including a 12-11-2 mark at Walter Brown.
- Six of the last eight games between the two teams have been decided by one goal or fewer, with three of those tilts ending in a tie.
LAST TIME AGAINST NORTHEASTERN
- The Terriers and Huskies met in the opening round of last year's Beanpot, with BU defeating NU in a shootout after the squads skated to a 3-3 tie in regulation.
- Nara Elia kept the shootout going with a goal in the third round before 2019 graduate Reagan Rust ended it in the next around after a Corinne Schroeder stop.
- BU thrice evened the score in regulation, with Mackenna Parker, Sammy Davis and Jesse Compher all lighting the lamp.
- Davis added two assists while Compher had a helper as well.
- Breanna Scarpaci and Abby Cook also collected one assist apiece.
- Corinne Schroeder made 31 saves, including six in overtime.
BEST OF BU AGAINST NORTHEASTERN
- Jesse Compher leads the Terriers with seven points against the Huskies, including a team-high five assists.
- Sammy Davis is next with six points on two goals and four assists.
- Nara Elia leads BU with three goals against Northeastern.
- Abby Cook has notched three assists while Mackenna Parker, Kristina Schuler and Natasza Tarnowski all have one goal and one assist apiece.
- Breanna Scarpaci and Abbey Stanley each have two helpers.
- Twelve different Terriers have secured at least one point against Northeastern.
NEWS ON NORTHEASTERN
- The Huskies lost their first game last Friday, a 1-0 defeat at Providence.
- Northeastern boasts a top-10 offense (3.83 goals per game) and a top-10 defense (1.17 goals against per game).
- Sophomore Alina Mueller leads the league in assists (11) and points (15).
- Sophomore Chloe Aurard is the team's top goal scorer with five markers and ranks second on the squad with nine points this season.
- Junior goaltender Aerin Frankel has started all six games for Northeastern, posting a .948 save percentage and a 1.19 goals-against average.
SCHROEDER CONTINUES TO SHINE
- Junior Corinne Schroeder continued her strong start to the season on Friday when she made 22 saves in a 5-2 win at Penn State.
- Schroeder did not allow an even-strength goal to the Nittany Lions.
- She enters the weekend ranked first among all NCAA goalies who have appeared in at least three games with a .956 save percentage.
- Schroeder is second among all NCAA goalies who meet that three-game minimum with a 1.18 goals-against average.
- The Elm Creek, Manitoba, native has not allowed more than one even-strength goal in all five starts she has made this season.
DONNELLY DELIVERS AGAIN
- Sophomore Kaleigh Donnelly extended her point streak to three games with her performance at Penn State.
- For the third straight game, Donnelly notched a goal and an assist in the Terriers' 5-1 win at Penn State on Saturday, a feat she also accomplished the previous day.
- Her streak began when she notched the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 3-1 triumph at Maine.
- Donnelly has now tripled her goal total from a season ago and has also added five assists for eight points.
- She is tied with redshirt senior Sammy Davis for the team lead in points.
COOK CASHES IN
- Senior Abby Cook enters the weekend on a five-game point streak.
- Cook extended her streak with three points at Penn State, highlighted by her game-winning goal on Friday.
- She also had a goal and an assist in Saturday's victory.
- Cook now has seven points (3g, 4a), which is tied for fourth among all league defenders.
- The Kelowna, B.C., native is one of just four Hockey East defenders to average at least a point per game.
- Cook has been held without a point just once this year.
OFF TO FAST STARTS
- BU has scored the opening goal in all seven tilts this season.
- Six of those seven opening salvos have come during the first period.
- Junior Kristina Schuler has provided that opening goal in two of the Terriers' last three tilts, scoring just 22 seconds into Friday's win at Penn State and only 1:06 into a 3-1 win at Maine on Oct. 20.
- Forty percent of the Terriers' total goals have come in the first period, which is ninth most in the NCAA.
TERRIERS TEND TO FINISH STRONG, TOO
- BU has allowed a mere 0.29 goals per game in the third period this season, which ranks second only to Cornell's perfect record in third periods through its first two games.
- The Terriers are a perfect 5-0-0 when leading after two periods this year.
