BOSTON - Highlighted by a record-setting performance by junior Cameron Williams, the Boston University men's track & field team finished second at 2016 Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championship, which concluded Sunday at the Track and Tennis Center.

Williams set a new school and Patriot League record in the 200m dash with a winning time of 20.58 seconds, which stands as the third fastest time in the nation this season. Williams, who broke his own school standard on Sunday (20.84), came close to besting the facility record of 20.52 seconds that was set earlier this year. After the meet, Williams was named Patriot League Male Track Athlete of the Year.

Junior David Oluwadara capped his impressive weekend with a victory in the triple jump. His leap of 15.45 meters (50' 8.25") is a new Patriot League record. Oluwadara also won the PL long jump title on Saturday and was named PL Male Field Athlete of the Year after the meet. Also in the triple jump, senior Tyler Malone finished third with a mark of 14.40 meters (48' 3").

Senior Ethan Knight began the day by earning five points for the Terriers with a fourth-place finish in the shot put. He finished with a toss of 16.57 meters (54' 4.5"). Classmate Nikolaos Farmakidis also had a fourth-place finish thanks to a 4.90-meter (16' 4.75") mark in the pole vault.
