WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman Chris Gray set a new single-season scoring record as the Boston University men's lacrosse team clinched a spot in the Patriot League Tournament with a 9-4 victory at Holy Cross on Friday night.
Sophomore Joe McSorley was named the Turnpike Trophy MVP thanks to his 10-save effort. He allowed a season-low four goals, matching the mark he set on Feb. 20 against Dartmouth. McSorley also recorded four ground balls on Friday.
