After winning two gold medals and breaking a meet record at the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Leah Fowlkes has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Competing at Holy Cross on Saturday, Leah Fowlkes blew away the competition to win gold in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 54.57 seconds. Later in the meet, Fowlkes helped the BU 4x400m relay team win gold with a meet-record time of 3:42.23, eclipsing the mark of 3:42.58 set by BU back in 2016.
Fowlkes’ performance led the Terriers to a third-place finish at the conference championship with 137 points
