BOSTON - Boston University senior wrestler Leighton Brady (Tulsa, Okla.) made it to the quarterfinals of the 2003 Midlands Championship at Welsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, Ill., while sophomore Justin Blumenthal (Madison, Wisc.), junior Warren Haines (Alexandria, Va.), and sophomore Tom Sforza (Lindenhurst, N. Y.) competed in the Wilkes Open in Wilkes-Barre, Pa..

Both competitions took place on Dec. 28-29.

Sforza finished third at 184, while Blumenthal was fifth at 149.
