FAIRFAX, Va. - The Boston University wrestling team dominated its competition at the Colonial Athletic Association Duals. The event was held at the George Mason University Field house. The Terriers cruised to a perfect record with four decisive victories.
On Friday, B. U. (10-2, 6-1 CAA) defeated Campbell, 40-3. On Saturday, the Terriers bested James Madison, 41-3, then downed Old Dominion, 34-9. They completed their four-match sweep with a 38-6 victory over host George Mason. The Terriers were one of three schools to post perfect records at the Duals. Hofstra and Rider also went 4-0.
Leighton Brady (165 pounds), Zack Johns (157 pounds), Ben Schilens (174 pounds), and John DaCruz (197) each went 3-0 during the two-day Duals. DaCruz pinned each of his opponents.
As a team, B. U. went 4-0 at 157 pounds and at 174 pounds. The Terriers went 3-0 at 141-pounds.
