Terrier Wrestlers Earn Two Victories In Tri-Meet

BOSTON - Boston University earned a 27-12 win over Delaware Valley College and a 53-(-1) Colonial Athletic Association victory over Wagner in tri-meet competition at Case Gym on Saturday, Feb. 5.
B.U. improved to 8-4 overall and 5-3 in CAA matches. Wagner fell to 0-18 overall and 0-8 in the CAA. Division III Delaware Valley College's record moved to 14-5.
Delaware Valley College, ranked No. 3 in Division III, stayed close to the Terriers, earning four victories. Three forfeit wins at 125, 165, and 174 helped the Terriers to take a 24-6 lead, but the Aggies earned decisions at 184 and 197 to keep it close.
B.U. proved to be too much for winless Wagner as the Terriers recorded five victories by pinfall and one by technical fall.
B.U. hosts East Stroudsburg (12 noon) and Cornell (5 p.m.) for a tri-meet on Saturday, Feb. 12.
