Howard Earns Second CAA Co-Wrestler Of The Week Award

BOSTON - For the second time this season, Boston University senior heavyweight Courtney Howard (Sitka, Alaska) shares the Colonial Athletic Association's Wrestler of the Week honor.
Howard shares this week's award with Old Dominion University's Adam Wright (184).
Howard won both of his matches last week, including a pin in just 45 seconds in a CAA win over Wagner. The victory was the 12th straight for Howard, the third ranked heavyweight in the CAA, who improves to 26-5 overall, a perfect 12-0 in duals and 8-0 in CAA duals.
Howard has had a excellent senior season, wrestling to a third-place finish at the Empire Open, a fifth-place finish at the Keystone Classic, and a fourth-place finish at the Nittany Lion Open.
B.U. (8-4, 5-3 CAA) next competes when it hosts East Stroudsburg (12 noon) and Cornell (5 p.m.) in tri-meet action on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Case Gym.
Boston University is hosting this year's CAA Wrestling Championship at Case Gymnasium on March 4-5.
