Wrestling Competes at Penn's Keystone Classic

PHILADELPHIA - The Boston University wrestling team sent 15 wrestlers to to the Keystone Classic, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday. Nine Terriers earned at least one victory on the day and sophomore Carlo Ferrandino finished fifth in the 141-pound bracket.
Sophomore Mike Roberts (149) and freshmen Abbie Rush (125), Ryan Buff (133) and C.J. Inglin (157) all earned two wins on the day for the Terriers.
After suffering a narrow 3-2 loss to Mercyhurst's Lenny Calhoun in the first round, Ferrandino reeled off three straight wins in the consolation bracket before coming up short again against Calhoun in the wrestleback semifinals.
The Terriers will return to action in two weeks when they compete in the Penn State Open on Sunday, Dec. 3.
