Wrestling Announces 2006 Recruiting Class
June 28, 2006 | Men's Wrestling
Boston University head wrestling coach Carl Adams announced his eight-man recruiting class in late June. The Terriers boast a very deep and talented crop of newcomers who will replace the six departing seniors from 2006.
“We feel this is a strong recruiting class and we needed that to happen this year,” said Adams, who is 243-142-4 as he enters his 26th season at BU. “The kids we recruited will be asked to contribute right away, and we see six or seven of them in the lineup when the season begins.”
BU lost six seniors to graduation from a squad which finished 5-10 in dual meet competition in 2005-06: Jason Bakanowski, Justin Blumenthal, Michael Galorenzo, Zach Johns, Tom Sforza and Greg Politi.
