Roberts Ready to Hit the Mat at NCAA Championships

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Under two weeks removed from his 149-pound title at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships, sophomore Mike Roberts will make his first appearance at the NCAA Championships when he begins first-round competition on Thursday, March 15, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Roberts enters the nationals with a record of 26-11 and will face 11th-seeded Cyler Sanderson, a red-shirt freshman from Iowa State, on Thursday morning in the first round, which begins at 11 a.m. Should Roberts win, he would face either No. 5 J.P. O'Connor of Harvard or Carter Dowling of Wyoming.
