Seiler, Watson, Waresmith Capture AE Weekly Honors

BOSTON - Sophomore Arik Seiler took home the America East's Men's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week honors while, the Terriers' Andre Watson and Tess Waresmith earned Diving Performer of the Week accolades as announced by the conference office.
Seiler posted three wins in BU's win over Boston College last Tuesday. He won the 100 free with a time of 47.48 seconds and also took the 200 free in 1:56.79. Seiler also captured the 200 IM in 156:79 and swam on the Terriers' second-place 200 free relay squad.
Watson, a junior, earned men's diving honors for the second week in a row. He set a pool record of 363 points in the one-meter event and placed second in the three-meter event with 258 points.
Waresmith, a junior, remained undefeated this season and garnered her seventh diving performer of the week award. She won the three-meter with a score of 275.55 and also placed first in the one-meter with a score of 306.30.
The 2008 America East Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championship will take place Feb. 14-17 at the University of Maine.
