BOSTON - Boston University men's crew head coach Rodney Pratt and women's rowing head coach Holly Hatton will not return for the 2008-09 season. Pratt had served as head coach for 18 years, and Hatton recently completed her 12th season.
"We want to thank Rodney and Holly for their years of service and their involvement with campus and community life," said Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch. "Their leadership has helped develop the sport of rowing in the Northeast, and they will always be an integral part of the history of their programs at BU."
"I would like to especially thank all of the student-athletes, their parents and the Crew Alumni/ae with whom I have had the pleasure to work over the past 18 years," Pratt said. "It has been my privilege to work with such talented and motivated young men and women as students, athletes and onward as alumni/ae. I wish each one of them well on the water, in the classroom and in their future lives and careers."
