
Watson Advances to NCAA Championships on 1M and 3M

Buffalo, N.Y. - Boston University diver Andre Watson has qualified for the NCAA Championships on both the one- and three-meter boards, finishing in the top three in both events at this weekend's Zone A Diving Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. Watson placed second on the 3M with 705.70 points and earned third place with a score of 588.00 on the 1M.
On the 1M, Watson finished three points ahead of Pittsburgh's Collin Froner and made it another close finish on the 3M, as six points differentiated second place from fourth.
Senior Tess Waresmith also competed at the event, placing 13th on the 1M with a score of 477.30 and eighth on the 3M with 549.80 points.
Watson will return to competition for the NCAA Championships on March 26-28 in College Station, Texas.
