
Rickett, Watson Compete at NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

College Station, Texas - Senior Andre Watson finished 31st on both the one- and three-meter boards, respectively, while sophomore Matt Rickett placed 47th in the 100 fly at the 2009 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas.
On the 1M, Watson posted a score of 268.40, which was good for 31st in the field, and he finished in the same spot on the 3M with a score of 300.90. Rickett, swimming in the 100 butterfly, placed 47th with a time of 48.91. Rickett had qualified for the championships via his school-record breaking 46.43 time at the America East Championships - the 21st-fastest time in the nation this season.
It was the first appearance at the NCAA Championships for both student-athletes.
