After recording three goals, including both of the goals during the 15th-ranked BU men's soccer team's 2-1 victory over Rhode Island, junior Aaron O'Neal has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Ranked 20th in the nation in points per game (1.78) and 19th in goals per game (0.78), O'Neal tallied an insurance goal in BU's 2-0 victory over Holy Cross last Wednesday. He followed with his third multi-goal performance of the season against Rhode Island on Saturday to help the Terriers earn their sixth straight victory over the Rams.
As a freshman, O'Neal recorded 16 points off six goals and four assists to receive America East Rookie of the Year honors. This season, he leads the Terriers with seven goals and 16 points.
