Matyas, Knorr Continue Dominance of Weekly AE Diving Awards

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the week ending on Oct. 24, sophomore Melinda Matyas and senior Tanner Knorr were named the America East Female and Male Divers of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Matyas takes her second Female Diver of the Week honor of the 2010-11 season. The sophomore led a trio of Terrier women in sweeping the podium in both the one-meter and three-meter dives against Bryant and Maine. Matyas posted scores of 275.25 in the one-meter dive and 277.43 in the three-meter dive.
Knorr also wins his second Male Diver of the Week honor of the season. The senior won both the one-meter and three-meter dives in the Terriers' tri-meet against Bryant and Maine. Knorr, along with teammate Jake Frankefield went one-two in both events. Knorr posted scores of 269.33 and 305.48, respectively, in his two events.
