Knorr, Matyas Sweep Weekly AE Diving Awards

Cambridge, Mass. - Boston University divers Tanner Knorr and Melinda Matyas have earned the Male and Female AE Diver of the Week awards, respectively, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Knorr continues to top the conference standings in the men's diving events. Against Boston College on Wednesday, Knorr swept the diving events, winning the one and three-meter events with scores of 274.65 and 305.93, respectively. This is Knorr's eighth weekly honor this season.
Matyas distanced herself from the field on Tuesday, outscoring her next closest competitor by over 40 points in both diving events. She won the one meter with a score of 278.02 and took home the three-meter title with a mark of 242.92. Matyas earns her ninth weekly award after sweeping the board events against Boston College.
