Sophomore Amanda Schmitz has earned this week's GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors after earning three individual victories at this past weekend's America East Swimming and Diving Championship and helping the Terriers earn their second straight conference title. Schmitz set three BU records and one America East record in the pool over a four-day span.

On Thursday she set the tone for the weekend, standing atop the podium in the 200-free relay after swimming the lead-off leg of the BU and America East record-breaking squad. She went on to claim individual glory in the 500 free, 400 IM and 200 fly - all BU records. Her time of 4:17.82 in the 400 IM, not only reset the BU mark, but it was also an America East record.
