BOSTON - The Boston University wrestling program and head coach Carl Adams are excited to announce that 10 newcomers will join the team's roster for the 2010-11 season. The Terriers will welcome the 10 freshmen to a team that returns three former national qualifiers and eight starters from a year ago.
"This class represents one of the largest and most talented groups we have had in the past 10 years, having won a combined six high school state championships," said Adams. "We have enough depth in the incoming group to fill nine of the 10 weight classes."
"These fine gentlemen exemplify the academic and athletic excellence we strive for here at Boston University and will perfectly compliment our needs for the future," added assistant coach Sean Gray. "On top of some great returning guys, we feel the direct impact of this class will take us to the next level we have been working so hard to reach."
