McGinley Named CAA Rookie of the Week

After going 3-0 at the Terriers' home quad meet on Jan. 22, freshman Bubba McGinley has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
McGinley defeated all three of his opponents to help BU earn a sweep with dual victories over Sacred Heart, Davidson and American International.
In the day's first match, McGinley posted a 10-7 victory over Sacred Heart's Billy Chamberlain, who qualified for the 2009 NCAA tournament while wrestling at Duquesne.
McGinley followed with a 11-4 victory over Davidson's Matt Zarth before pinning Josh Rollins of American International just 2:22 into their match.
With the three wins, McGinley improved his season record to 12-8.
