After claiming the 197-pound title at the CAA Championships and going on to win two matches at the NCAA Championships, junior John Hall was named the MVP of the 2010-11 Boston University wrestling team.

Hall turned in a record of 21-5 on the year for a team-best .808 winning percentage and defeated Binghamton's John Parris in the conference title match to become just the third Terrier to earn a CAA crown.

At the NCAAs, Hall pinned Chad Hanke of Oregon State in his first-round match for his 17th consecutive win before falling in the second round. Hall also defeated Michigan's Anthony Biondo by a score of 4-2 in the wrestlebacks.

Hall, a two-time NCAA qualifier, enters his senior year with a 72-34 career record.
