After scoring three goals, including the double-overtime winner and the game-tying goal, to lift the field hockey team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over No. 10 Northeastern on Sunday, junior Ella Gunson has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Gunson put the Terriers up 2-1 late in the first half with her first goal, but BU needed her goal in the 56th minute to force overtime. In the second overtime period, Gunson turned in an impressive individual effort to cap her hat trick and lift BU to the key non-conference win over its crosstown rival.

She leads BU in points (20) and assists (6) and is shared for the team lead in goals (7) with senior Jacinda McLeod.
