Czarnecki Named CAA Wrestler of the Week

After pulling off an upset of the 10th-ranked wrestler at 174 in the team's dual finale, junior Kyle Czarnecki of the Boston University wrestling team has been named the CAA Wrestler of the Week.
At Case Gym on Sunday, Czarnecki used a five-point move in the third period to pull off a 6-2 victory over Jim Resnick of Rider. Resnick was the top-ranked 174-pounder in the conference in addition to being ranked as high as 10th in the country.
Czarnecki will enter the CAA Championships with a record of 19-10 on the year. He has won seven of his last nine matches and went 5-1 in CAA duals.
The CAA Championships will take place on Saturday, March 3, at Binghamton University.
