BOSTON - The Boston University wrestling team returned to its dual schedule on Saturday evening and posted a 53-0 home victory over Sacred Heart at Case Gym to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The Pioneers forfeited three matches and the Terriers earned bonus wins in the other seven matches, including three technical falls and two pins.

Redshirt junior Nestor Taffur pinned Joe Evangelista in the closing seconds of their match at 157 and senior Hunter Meys closed the match with a pin at 2:02 of his 197-pound bout against Sam Morrison.

Junior Bubba McGinley (125), junior B.J. Suitor (133) and junior Nick Tourville (149) all recorded technical falls while sophomores Tyler Scotton (141) and Andrew Maksimovic (174) each posted major decisions.

The Terriers will return to action on Sunday (Jan. 13) when they play host to American International. The dual will start at 1 p.m.
