After earning a pair of wins, including an upset of No. 11 Jimmy Gulibon of Penn State, sophomore Dane Harlowe of the Boston University wrestling team has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
Harlowe rode out Gulibon for the final two periods of their 133-pound bout on Friday to pull off a dramatic 1-0 victory and successfully avenge a 13-0 major decision loss to Gulibon last month at the Bearcat Open. Gulibon was a former four-time Pennsylvania state champion and was the top-ranked wrestler at his weight in the country coming out of high school.
On Saturday, Harlowe helped the Terriers defeat Davidson by posting a 15-0 technical fall against Anthony Elias, who was a 2013 NCAA qualifier.
