Wrestling Takes on Princeton Saturday at Case

BOSTON - The Boston University wrestling team (3-8, 1-7 EIWA) continues the home stretch of its dual season on Saturday (Feb. 8) when it welcomes Princeton to Case Gym. The match will start at 6 p.m.
The Tigers enter the weekend with a 5-2 record and all of their matches have come against EIWA opponents. Before taking on the Terriers on Saturday, Princeton will visit Harvard at 3 p.m.
BU has defeated Princeton in each of the past three seasons with the previous two meetings being decided by a single point. Last season in New Jersey, four Terriers in the current probable lineup earned wins to help the Terriers earn a 20-19 victory in the season finale.
BU senior Nestor Taffur, who is ranked as high as fourth in the nation at 157, leads all EIWA wrestlers this season in wins with 28 and enters Saturday on a nine-match win streak.
The Tigers are paced by junior Adam Krop, a 149-pounder with 21 victories. Sophomore Judd Ziegler (165) and freshman Brett Harner (184) have 20 wins apiece.
