The Boston University wrestling team will compete in the EIWA Championships for the first time as Penn will serve as host for the 110th edition of the tournament this weekend (March 8-9) at The Palestra.
Four Terriers earned seeds for the tournament. Senior Nestor Taffur, who is ranked as high as fifth in the country at 157, is the No. 1 seed heading into the weekend. Junior Mitchell Wightman (165) and sophomore Dane Harlowe (133) are both seeded eighth in their respective brackets while junior Tyler Scotton is the No. 9 seed at 141.
