BOSTON - Coming off a thrilling come-from-behind overtime victory over Loyola Maryland, the Boston University men's basketball team will have a quick turnaround with a visit to Colgate on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Terriers (10-9, 3-3 PL) rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to post an 87-84 win over the Greyhounds on Monday night, as junior Eric Fanning tallied a career-high 37 points to help BU extend its win streak to a season-high three games.
Currently in sole possession of third place in the conference standings, Colgate (8-9, 4-2 PL) will be seeking its first three-game win streak following double-digit victories over Army West Point (80-66) and Bucknell (84-73).
TERRIER TIDBITS

• The Terriers rank third in scoring in the PL at 72.5 ppg after posting a season-high 87 points against the Greyhounds by shooting 52.8 percent from the field ... • BU is now 1-1 in overtime games this year with both contests happening at home ... Coincidentally, both decisions were 87-84.
• Junior Eric Fanning leads the Terriers in scoring at 14.9 ppg after being the top BU scorer in the last four games and sits in fourth in PL-only scoring at 17.0 ppg ... His 37 points against Loyola were the most by a Terrier since John Holland ('11) tallied 43 points in 2010 ... They were also one shy of the most scored in Case Gym by a Terrier with Holland remaining the record holder at 38 points (set in 2008).
• Senior John Papale is the only Terrier to have started all 19 games and is averaging 12.2 ppg ... This season, he became just the 10th in program history to reach 1,000 points and 200 assists ... A total of 34 men have hit the 1,000-point milestone at BU.
