
Chin Competes At Rio Olympic Trials

BU's Garrett Chin competed in the 400 IM at the Olympic swimming trials on Sunday
OMAHA, Neb. - Boston University swimming and diving sophomore Garrett Chin competed in the Rio Olympics Trials on Sunday afternoon, placing 48th in a field of the United States' 92 best 400 IM competitors.
This is the second consecutive Olympic Trials that Boston University has been represented by both a female and male swimmer. Chin finished the long-course race with a time of 4:28.32 where only the top-eight competitors advance to Sunday night's finals. He competed in the seventh heat of the day and finished sixth overall in the race.
