BOSTON - Competing at Competition Pool for the final time of the fall semester, the Boston University men's swimming and diving team dropped a 181,5-101.5 decision to UConn on Saturday afternoon.
Garrett Chin posted a dominating performance, playing a hand in 31 of BU's 105 points on the day. Chin took home the top spot in the 200 fly, 200 back and 200 IM, while also guiding the 400 medley relay team of Chris Downing, Stuart Vickery and Judson Balding to a second-place finish. Erik Ryan and Trevor Winans posted second-place finishes individually, as Ryan placed in the 1,000 free and Winans followed up in the 200 free.
BU will return to the pool next semester, starting with a Jan. 13 clash against Colgate at Competition Pool.
