BALTIMORE, Md. – Following a thrilling come-from-behind win at Navy, the Boston University men's basketball team will wrap up a two-game road trip in the state of Maryland with a visit to Loyola Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is 5-5 on the road this season and will try to move above .500 for the first time since opening the season with victories at Northeastern and Albany.
  • Junior Max Mahoney went 8-of-10 at Navy to tally 19 of his game-high 22 points in the second half and currently ranks sixth nationally at 68.1 FG% ... He remains the team leader in points (16.8 ppg) and rebounds (6.1 rpg) with Tyler Scanlon second at 12.7 ppg and 5.1 rpg.
  • On Monday, freshman Jonas Harper became the third Terrier alongside Jordan Guest and Jack Hemphill to claim Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 14.5 ppg against the two military academies ... BU last had three individuals named Rookie of the Week in 2006-07 when member of the America East.
  • Junior Javante McCoy has reached double figures three times in the last four games and is third in scoring at 10.9 ppg ... Nine of the men on the roster have reached 10+ this season.
  • The Terriers have made 10+ free throws four times in the last six games after accomplishing the feat four times in the previous 11 contests.
  • BU ranks 39th nationally at 48.2 FG% while averaging 72.9 ppg ... The Terriers are holding opponents to 70.4 ppg and 44.6 FG%.
SCOUTING LOYOLA MARYLAND
  • The Greyhounds are 1-3 in conference play with 66-64 home win against Army following losses to Holy Cross (80-73), Lehigh (89-72) and Lafayette (85-70).
  • Overall, Loyola is 3-2 at home compared to the 1-10 road record with other wins against Delaware State (91-62) and Mount St. Mary's (75-65).
  • 6-foot-4 guard Andrew Kostecka is averaging a PL-high 19.6 ppg while averaging 4.9 rpg and 2.3 apg.
  • Both Chuck Champion (12.8 ppg) and Brent Holcombe (11.0 ppg) also average double figures in points with Holcombe also posting a team-high 6.0 rpg.
  • The Greyhounds average 72.9 ppg and 45.4 FG% while holding opponents to 80.8 ppg and 47.7 FG%. 
SERIES HISTORY
  • The Terriers lead the all-time series, 9-5, after winning the last meeting at home (64-55) in February.
  • The Greyhounds are 5-2 all-time at Reitz Arena, having won the last two contests in 2018 (68-65) and 2017 (78-63).
