Terriers Take Fourth at Patriot League Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md.
 – The Boston University men's swimming and diving team finished in fourth place at the Patriot League Championships for the second straight years, totaling 376 points after the four-day event.

Navy won its 16th straight league title in 16 years of competition at the Patriot League Championships, winning by 256 points. Bucknell just edged out the Terriers for the third spot by 21 points, while BU finished 46 points ahead of fifth-place Lehigh

Stuart Vickery posted the top individual finish of the four-day championship for the Terriers by placing second in the 200 fly with a time of 1:47.41. The 400 free relay team of Matt Traub, Adam Orringer-Hau, Judson Balding, Trevor Winans closed out the meet with a fourth-place finish, ticking in at 3:00.89.

Additionally, BU picked up a point in the Turnpike Trophy as it surpassed Holy Cross to improve to 11-3 in the 2018-19 rivalry series. Winans was named the Turnpike Trophy MVP for the second straight season after playing a hand in 129 points for the Terriers.
