COMPLETE RESULTS
BOSTON – The Boston University men's and women's swimming & diving teams closed out its 2018-19 slate at Competition Pool at the two-day Boston Winter Open.
Benjamin Brewer posted a stellar weekend, winning the 400 IM, placing second in the 200 IM and earned fifth-place finishes in both the 200 free and 200 breast. Marie Alameida notched two top finishes in the 100 back and 100 free, while also grabbing a fourth-place finish in the 50 free. Nikko Bjontegard and Julimar Avila also touched the wall first in their respective events, as Bjontegard took the 200 breast and Avila won the 200 fly.
BU will have just under two weeks to prepare for the Patriot League Championships, hosted by Bucknell Feb. 20-23.
