Fall Schedule
The Boston University golf team and head coach Bruce Chalas have announced the Terriers' fall 2019 schedule on Monday afternoon.
BU, the defending Patriot League champion, will play five tournaments in five different states this fall. The Terriers will begin the season at the 54-hole William & Mary Invitational on Sept. 8. They will then return to New England to take part in their lone 36-hole tournament of the fall at the Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 14-15).
Following their annual trip to Dartmouth, the Terriers will travel to Michigan State for the first time to compete in the 36th annual Mary Fossum Invitational (Sept. 22-23) at Forest Akers Golf Course. BU and sophomore Hanako Kawasaki will then defend their titles at the Yale Intercollegiate (Oct. 4-6). Last year, Kawasaki and the Terriers set new individual and team program records at Yale. BU will then close the fall season at the Kiawah Island Classic (Oct. 13-15) hosted by the College of Charleston.
"We're excited to announce our fall tournament schedule," head coach Bruce Chalas said. "These events are played on excellent golf courses with strong fields. We're very determined to defend our title at Yale, while Michigan State will be a challenging addition to our schedule. The strength of our schedule continues to attract experienced tournament players from around the world."
