Terriers Together Campaign Another Major Success
October 31, 2022 | General
BOSTON – The Boston University Athletics community once again came together to support the future for Terrier teams and their student-athletes as part of the third annual Terriers Together campaign on Oct. 18-20.
This year's campaign focused solely on alumni, parent and friend participation and rewarded teams with the most unique donors. The shift in strategy from previous initiatives was a major success, resulting in over 1,400 gifts - a 35% increase from last year's four-day campaign. Of the 24 varsity teams, more than half hit their participation goals, earning extra funding for their student-athletes.
Carrie & Tim Burr (MET'97) and Beth (COM'81, Par Questrom'17) & Joe Castronovo (Questrom'78, Par Questrom'17), graciously provided a total of $20,000 in bonus funds to the White Group after securing the most donors during the challenge. Joe (Questrom'83, Par Pardee'19, SPH'19) and Sarah Burke (Par Pardee'19, SPH19) provided a bonus to each team who reached their donor participation goal. Mary Buletza (Questrom'80) and Gary Breton also stepped-up on the last day with a matching gifts incentive, helping to finish the competition strong!
