150th BU Commencement Includes 150 Student-Athletes

BOSTON – A total of 150 student-athletes participated in graduation ceremonies on Sunday as part of Boston University's 150th commencement exercises.
BU alum David Zaslav (LAW'85), the CEO and president of Warner Bros. Discovery, delivered the All-University commencement speech before nearly 8,000 BU graduates and 20,000 total attendees Sunday afternoon at Nickerson Field. The ceremony honored graduates from September 2022, January 2023, May 2023 and August 2023.
Following all of the festivities, student-athletes with friends and family gathered together at the BU Softball Field for a reception hosted by Director of Athletics Drew Marrochello.
The seniors of the softball team were unable to attend due to being in Georgia for NCAA Regionals. However, the University hosted an intimate ceremony for those student-athletes and their families on Monday morning. Amie Grills, Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs, delivered a meaningful message to those in attendance.
Listed below are the three student-athletes who were inducted into Scarlet Key honor society and the 25 Terriers who graduated with Latin honors.
