BOSTON – The Boston University men's swimming & diving program earned 2022-23 CSCAA Scholar All-America recognition and tied for seventh in Division I in spring grade-point average while having 21 team members earn a spot on the 2022-23 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Senior
Kyle Falkstrom earned a spot on the 2023 CSCAA Individual Scholar All-America Second Team after posting an NCAA "B" cut in the 100 breaststroke and posting a GPA of 3.78 in the spring.
As a team, the Terriers posted a 3.62 GPA this past semester, which was the highest in the Patriot League and tied for seventh nationally.
For the fourth straight year, BU had more than 20 honorees on the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their league championship takes place.
In total, 3,615 Patriot League student-athletes were named to the academic honor roll, with 2,431 chosen for the winter-spring campaign. The Patriot League has now topped 3,000 total academic honor roll members for six consecutive years.
